Texas Energy Company Offering No Deposit Electric Service
Bounce Energy provides a second chance for those who have been asked by most of the Texas electricity companies out there for a large deposit. It is not unusual during these hard economic times for energy providers to want a very large deposit in the range of $200 – $1500 from a residential electricity customer. For those who defaulted on an electric bill or were late every other bill you may have found that most electric providers want anywhere from $500 – $750 as an upfront deposit to turn on Texas electric service.
The Fresh Start Plan
Bounce Energy had an electric rate called the Fresh Start Plan that would let you into an electricity rate at a guaranteed no deposit option. The only requirement was that you had a valid credit card. The first 3 months you would pay a little higher for your electric service. If you paid your energy bill on time for the first 3 months they would proactively lower your electric rate to the cheapest Texas electric plan they offer. Unfortunately this plan is no longer available.
